Our little Aspen Jade is off for the next 2 1/2 weeks to be with her dad in Slaton. Matt and I are already missing her and it hasn't even been a whole day yet! I was trying to think why it was affecting me so much this summer. Unfortunately, I have gotten used to the fact that Aspen leaves for a few weeks here and there in the summer. It used to be that I missed her, of course, but I was so worn out from teaching that is was a little vacation time for me to relax, and Matt and I would get some date nights. But this year, since I haven't been teaching, and Matt and I have now been married almost 2 years (time flies), it seems a little sadder than normal! But I'm sure we will find lots of ways to fill our time, and we know she will be having a blast with her dad, cousins, and grandmother in Slaton. So here are a few pictures of our sweet girl!!
