Fourth Grade Nothings.....

Fourth grade! Here we come!!!

So far, Aspen has loved fourth grade! Her teacher seems really sweet and she is making new friends! We are so glad to have Aspen home from the summer! I think Aspen has enjoyed being back at home too! We have gone to dinner with friends, shopped and of course...Ranger's games!

Aspen has really wanted me to have another child, luckily for me, we have tons, literally tons! of friends who are pregnant, or have babies, so she gets to practice being a big sister! Below is Aspen with Delaney, our friends sweet little girl! Aspen didn't even want to eat her frozen yogurt (so not like her) she just wanted to play with Delaney!

Dinner with the girls! Isabel, Amber, Aspen and I had a girls night! Dinner, movie, and slumber party at Amber's! So fun!

Aspen and Gigi, one of Amber's cats! She wants a pet so bad, Matt would finally let her have a fish...lol

Brunch with Nina and Pops, and of course the American Dolls! Then on to the Ranger's game!

Aspen has also started gymnastics, again. She was in gymnastics a few years ago, but after a year decided to to do soccer and ballet instead. Well now, we are back to gymnastics! She has been asking about trying out for the Olympics....I told her, we'll see.....hmmmmmm

Our home away from home :) AKA the Temple AKA Texas Rangers Stadium

Silly faces!

Cooking for Mommy and Mattie!

We got to the Ranger's game early, and Aspen was watching the Cleveland Indians during their batting practice. She went down to the rail and yelled and waved her arms....and yes! Got a ball thrown to her from one of their players! We will always cheer for the Indians, unless they are playing the Rangers of course;) She was so excited!!!! It is so cute being with Aspen at the games. She doesn't really care about watching baseball, but she knows all the starter Ranger's names and cheers so loud! Her favorites are Nelson Cruz, Josh Hamilton, and Elvis Andrus. We even got a free shake at Twisted Root because she was cheering so loud!

God is good! So glad to be blessed with such an amazing daughter and wonderful family!

Real Quick

I haven't had time to blog in forever! And I still don't have much time..... Soon I'll sit down and at least post Aspen's first day of school pics! BUT I am not telling my daughter or husband these things, and since they don't read my blog I can tell you (the three people that read this)!

I made my first batch of chocolate cookies today ( my normal family yummy recipe) with whole wheat flour instead of white and 1/2 Stevia from the Raw sugar instead of full plain cane sugar....They haven't noticed, and I am not telling them because then they will say they could tell....

Also, Matt can't stand onions and freaks out if they are in his food....well I sauted veggies and put in onion really finely chopped...and he raved at how good they were! GOTCHA:) lol

I will continue to tell my secrets as they come!!! HAHAHAHA (I feel like I should have an evil laugh to end this so pretend that was an evil laugh!)
