Back to Cowtown.....

When we came back from Austin, we were able to have Kayla and Kybree over for 2 days. They had a blast! I picked them up early and we grabbed some breakfast to eat on the way back to Keller. So as soon as they got to our house they jumped into the pool! I had to make them get out at a certain point because I knew they were going to get burned! So they stayed inside for a bit and played hide and seek, and then after lots of begging, I let them get back into the pool! They were out there pretty much all day! Which was great, because they all three could play together and have a good time regardless of the age differences. The next day I took them to the Water Gardens in Downtown Ft. Worth, which was really neat, but kinda a tease because you aren't supposed to get in the water. One pool had people in it, so I let the girls stand in the water there but I was a little nervous we would get in trouble....I'm such a dork! After that we hustled over to the Stockyards to watch the cattle drive. Kybree was not a big fan of standing in the heat, she told me, " I don't tolerate the heat." with a very serious face. haha! She enjoyed seeing the cows and the longhorns. We really wanted to do the Maze they have down there, but I didn't have enough cash, so next time! And of course, we got home and the girls jumped in the pool!!! I think they could live in there;)

The girls played so good together. We are so lucky to have such a close family! We loved growing up with our cousins and so I am so happy that Aspen has amazing cousins to grow up with too! Here are a few pictures from the weekend!

Wii Dance Time! Kybree has some moves!

Kybree was a little nervous about this place....

  1. love the pics of the girls. What is is about cousins? I really enjoyed being with my cousins too, especially David, the cousin who was closest to my age.
